About me
Frank Kungl was born in 1966 in Sigmaringen, Southern Germany. After having finished college in his native town, he started studying fashion design and pattern making at private fashion school «MFS» in Sigmaringen, completed after his diplome later on by supplemental lessons in «illustration» at «Istituo artistico dell?abbligliamento Marangoni» in Milan.
Frank Kungl was mostly working for high end brands in different fields of the fashion industry and became a well known specialist for top level knitwear in his sector during the last years.
After 20 yrs of carreer in fashion business which he ended up as «head of design» in an internationally distributing company in cashmere business of high reputation, he decided to finally following his biggest passion and entering in the field of furniture and interior design.
In order to bringing to perfection his knowledge of industrial design, Frank restarted schooling in autumn 2008 at «CADschool» Geneva, getting instructed there in computer applied programs such as AutoCad 2D and 3D, StudioMax, In-Design, Illustrator and Photoshop. Practical exercise in these fields was part of the education. This schooling was ended in january 2010.
Since spring 2010 Frank is working as an independant designer. in Switzerland, Germany, Benelux and France.
